Some additions to a small piece
Still in progress … this piece has been pinned on the design wall for a while now. I knew I wanted to add something to it, but wasn’t sure what. It was made as a “prototype” for a larger piece of work, and to try different things on it before I do it on the large quilt. Good practice, too, as some things definitely do not work.
This time I added text in circles using TAP. I love the product, and as has been my usual way of using it, I add it on top of the quilting. I like the results, although I am not sure if I am going to incorporate it in quite this manner in the large quilt. Decisions, decisions …
You can see on the bottom right-hand corner that I still need to finish the seed stitching on the circle. The two skeins of embroidery floss at the top right-hand corner are the ones I am using … One more hand-embroidered circle to go.
I have to apologize for the not-so-great photo. 5:30 a.m. photography in the “dark” with an iPhone? mmmmhhhh, maybe not such a good idea!
What do you think. Leave me a comment or two. I’d love to hear from you.
Keep quilting,
Ana
