Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

As Christmas approaches, I want to take a moment to wish each of you—friends, family, clients, supporters, and fellow creatives—a very Merry Christmas filled with love, warmth, and joy.

This season always feels like a time to pause and appreciate the beauty of connection and creativity. Whether it’s the twinkling lights of a Christmas tree, the aroma of holiday baking, or the cozy moments shared with loved ones, these small yet significant details remind us of what truly matters.

For me, this year has been filled with moments of gratitude and inspiration. From walking on ancient ruins in the Valley of the Temples in Sicily, to photographing my favourite Roman vessel in Évora, to dreaming of ideas while sipping Glühwein in the magical Christmas markets of Austria to reflecting on the meaning of tradition while singing “Silent Night” in Oberndorf’s Silent Night Chapel, this season has brought a sense of wonder and renewal to my creative spirit.

As you celebrate this holiday, I hope you find time to embrace the things that bring you joy. Perhaps it’s a quiet moment to stitch, sketch, or craft. Maybe it’s laughter with family and friends or even the chance to let your imagination wander as you plan for the year ahead. Whatever it is, may it fill your heart with happiness and peace.

Thank you for being part of my journey and for sharing your love of creativity and art throughout the year. Your support means so much, and it inspires me to continue exploring, creating, and sharing in the year to come.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a holiday season filled with magic and meaning. May it be everything you hope for and more!

Thanks for reading. Until I write again … enjoy your Holidays!

  2. Merry Christmas to you too, Ana. Thank you also for all your inspiration and encouragement of my artistic efforts. Santa brought me a beautiful deluxe Janome M8 sewing machine for Christmas.! It has several features that will make it easier for me to sew and quilt, possibly faster. Push button start, stop, speed lever, stitch regulator and a 13″ throat for the queen- size quilt I’ve got half pieced. But first I’ll be making baby quilts for twin grandchildren born December 2nd! A boy and a girl; Amelie Jean and Theodore Clifford. It has been an exciting month. I hope you have a Happy Healthy New Year, full of artistic inspiration!
