Exciting news! Two new classes added for October
Can you believe that it is almost the middle of September? Schools have started classes and kids have gone back. A bit different than the last time they were in class, but they are back.
And here … we are back offering classes too. Virtually this time, as it’s not possible to do face-to-face classes in a big setting. But this is the next best thing! You can take the class from the comfort of your own home.
I’m pleased to offer two new classes in October: Sophisticated Monoprinting and TAP – Transfer Artist Paper
Sophisticated Monoprinting on October 1st at 1:00 p.m. MST
Discover a world of possibilities with this monoprinting technique that gives you the ability to print any shape you’d like.
A monoprint is a one-of-a-kind print so each design will be unique. The irregular nature of the shapes comes from using stencils and masks together in the same print.
During class you’ll create your own stencils and masks, and using paint on a gelli plate (or plexiglass plate), print your own unique designs; think uneven shapes, thin or thick lines, circles, triangles, squares, stars, etc.
Introduction to Transfer Artist Paper – TAP – on October 6th at 1:00 p.m. MST
Transfer images easily onto your work with Transfer Artist Paper or TAP. Using TAP,
In this 3-hour live-stream class, we’ll explore different ways to use TAP to achieve different results. We will be working on a fat quarter of fabric so by the end of the class you’ll have a small piece you’ll be able to quilt or make into a pillow.
The Transfer Artist Paper course has an optional accompanying kit with 2 sheets of images printed for use during class plus one clear sheet so you can print your own images. BONUS: the first 5 people to sign for the class will receive an additional printed sheet.
You can find these online classes on my Store – Online Classes. Hope you can join me.
Stay tuned for more classes during the month of October. If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see from me, please send me a note through the contact button and I’ll do my best to accommodate your request.
Thanks for reading. Keep creating.

Is this a 3 hour live class as well? I don’t see that in the description. Also where do we sign up?
It looks like fun! And a 1pm start time is so helpful to me in Hawai’i with a 4 hour time difference.
Thank you.
Hi Glorianne,
Thanks for contacting me. I realized that for some reason there was some information missing from the class description. Glad you noticed. I thought of you when I set the classes up. Is there anything else you might be interested in? Let me know and I can see about setting up an afternoon class. Best regards,
Ana
At this point I am very interested in the monoprinting class. I also work with paintsticks and TAP paper and I’m sure you have tricks to share, but for now the monoprinting sounds great. I just have to make sure I have the supplies needed. Always wanted to do a gelli plate and never have. And I do have plexi if that’s my backup. Let me know how to sign up. I’m excited about the possibilities. Thank you!
Hi Glorianne,
Thanks for your comment. I’m so glad you decided to join the monoprinting class. To sign up, please go to the Store and then choose online classes. You’ll see the monoprinting online course listed there. Follow the instructions. It should be simple.
For supplies, you’ll need a gelli plate or a plexiglass plate, a soft brayer, thin cardboard (I use old file folders), paints – any kind will do: fabric or acrylic or a mix of both, and fabric. That’s basically it. I’ll send the official supply list later.
Looking forward to welcoming to class in a few weeks. Best regards,
Ana
Excited to take this class. I did not see the cost, could you send that to my email?
I did reply to you. Did you see it? The class is $75.00 and it’s three hours long. Hope to see you at the workshop.
