My Thread Collections with WonderFil Threads

There’s something deeply satisfying about finding just the right thread—the perfect hue that disappears into vintage linen, or one that sings softly against layers of fabric and stitch. I’m thrilled to finally share more about my two curated collections with WonderFil Threads, chosen with care and shaped by the stories I stitch every day. These two collections are available exclusively through my website.
Timeless Whispered Tones
This collection is all about the understated beauty of neutrals. I use these tones in my slow stitching work—books, scrolls, and other deeply personal textile pieces made with vintage fabrics, lace, trims, and old buttons that carry their own stories.

Whether you’re layering aged linens or building texture with hand embroidery, these threads melt into the surface just enough to let the materials speak, while still giving form to your stitches. They’re the quiet companions that support every mark you make.

Timeless Whispered Tones is made up of 3 spools of 60 wt. Efina and 7 spools of 8 wt. Eleganza in solids and variegated colours. They are perfect for my slow stitching class projects such as scrolls and books and rolls,. and heirloom-inspired projects.
Antique Reflections
If Timeless Whispered Tones is about softness and subtlety, then Antique Reflections is its spirited sibling—rooted in history, but bursting with character. These colours were chosen from the palette I’ve returned to again and again in works like Silent Keepers of Time I, II, and III, and Whispers in the Dark. And of course, my ongoing stitching journal!

These threads are rich without being brash, echoing antique tapestries, worn silks, and time-washed pages. They bring warmth and presence to your handwork while still holding the grace of the past.

Each colour in both collections was selected not just because it’s beautiful—but because I use it. These aren’t “display only” threads; they’re my studio staples. Whether I’m teaching a class, working on a piece late at night, or stitching during quiet moments of travel, these are the colours I reach for.
Stitching is a conversation between fabric, thread, and memory. I hope these collections help you tell your own story—whether you’re creating a scroll that captures a moment in time or stitching pages into a fabric book that holds something meaningful only to you. I can’t wait to see what you create with them.
Thanks for reading. Until I write again, keep making the world a beautiful place. One colourful stitch at a time,
Ana
