Merry Christmas to you all
Can you believe that it’s Boxing Day already? Anyone out there going shopping this week? I’ve promised myself that I’ll stay away from malls and great congregations of people going wild over some sale or other. :)
Presents were shared and food was eaten yesterday with the family, and we put together a murder mystery puzzle and did solve the murder! Loads of fun. Then, once everyone left, we got rid of all the paper lying around, put the kitchen to rights, sat on the couch and did not move until it was time to go to bed. Even Serafina (the cat) was pooped after all the noise and laughter! hahaha It’s amazing how much time and effort we spend to get ready for the holidays and they are gone and done in a flash! Don’t get me wrong … I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. But I was tired last night and had a great night’s sleep. I think the cups of mulled wine helped.
I hope everyone was able to share with family and friends. Now, it’s time to relax and do some work. I’m hoping to work on some projects I had started and then set aside, and some new stuff that I’ve been thinking of, including starting (and hopefully finishing) a piece for an exhibit coming up. I have a few ideas, now to implement them.
On another note, new classes are now online for January 2023. You can find them all here. There’s a bit of everything for everyone: 2 demo classes on creating images, font and backgrounds in PowerPoint, one hand-stitching class to make Embellished Rocks, and a monoprinting class that will give you lots of ideas to create pieces to use in your work. If there’s a class that you are interested in and you don’t see it in the list of active classes, do not hesitate to write and let me know. I always try to accommodate requests.
I hope everyone has a great week. Relax, recharge, stay safe and stay creative. Until I write again,
Ana
