Happy New Year!

A new year always arrives with a certain freshness to it.

The calendar turns, the pages are blank, and suddenly everything feels possible again. A brand-new start. A clean slate. A year still untouched — waiting to be filled with color, curiosity, and creative energy.

I like to think of the year ahead the way I think about my studio table at the beginning of a new project: scattered with scraps of ideas, half-formed thoughts, textures I’m drawn to, and materials waiting for their moment. Not everything needs to be clear yet. Not every plan needs to be defined. Sometimes it’s enough to simply begin — to pull a thread, make a mark, and see where it leads.

I’m wishing all of you a year rich in colour and creativity. A year that leaves room for play as well as focus, for slow work and unexpected discoveries. A year where even the smallest scraps — of fabric, of time, of inspiration — find their way into something meaningful.

There’s already a little bubbling in the studio, and I’m looking forward to sharing some of what’s in the works over the year.
