My design wall is bare
After months of dedicated work, the pieces for my latest exhibit are finally complete. As I stand back and look the empty design wall, I can’t help but think back on all the work in progress, thoughts and ideas have been pinned there for the past few months. Today, the wall is bare, stripped of its creative clutter. A bittersweet moment.
These past 5 months, creating work for the exhibit, have been intense and all-consuming. My design wall was a hub of colours, textures, and ideas. Each piece evolved from a mere concept to piece of work right before my eyes.
A bare design wall is more than just an empty space; it symbolizes the end of a journey. It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate the hard work and creativity that went into each piece. It’s a reminder of the challenges faced, the breakthroughs achieved, and the artistic growth experienced along the way.
While the bare wall may seem like a void, it is, in fact, a blank canvas brimming with potential. It’s a fresh start, a new chapter waiting to be written. The emptiness is not daunting; instead, it’s invigorating. It represents countless opportunities for new ideas, new projects, and new explorations. It’s a space where I can experiment with new techniques, play with different colour palettes, and explore unconventional materials. It’s a reminder that every piece of art starts from nothing and that the journey of creation is ongoing.
As I prepare to embark on new projects, the bare design wall stands as a testament to the cyclical nature of creativity. Each blank space is a promise of what’s to come, a whisper of future masterpieces waiting to be born. Embracing this empty space with excitement and curiosity, I look forward to filling it once again with the fruits of my imagination and hard work.
Until I write again, stay cool and keep creating,
Ana
