Amazing … how time flies by!

No, incredibly enough, I’m still here … life got busy these last few months and my days have changed.  New projects aside from quilting and fabric design; new work at the office …

And the days go by so fast … I can’t believe it’s the middle of June already and half the year is gone!

I haven’t been doing much lately, too many things on my mind.  I have to clear the cobwebs and get back to it.  I promise I will and post some of the ideas I’ve been playing with.

Right now, though, the latest project was sewing new curtains for my kitchen with the fabric I brought back from Houston last year, which had been waiting for me to make up my mind.  One panel is done.  I need to finish the other one.  I’ll post photos of the fabric soon.

I promise to get back to blogging more often.  For now, I’ll leave you with this:

“Stop thinking about art works as objects, and start thinking about them as triggers for experiences.

What makes a work of art ‘good’ for you is not something that is already ‘inside’ it, but something that happens inside you — so the value of the work lies in the degree to which it can help you have the kind of experience that you call art.” — Brian Eno
See you soon.
