Description
A little piece of Provence for your next creative project.
I collected these beautiful fabrics during a trip to Provence, France and they have been part of my own textile collection ever since. Now, I’m delighted to share some of these treasures with you.
Inspired by the colours and patterns of traditional Provençal textiles, this collection brings together a lovely variety of prints in reds, yellows, blues and whites. From small and delicate motifs to larger patterns and stripes, each fabric has its own character. I’ve also included two mottled solid fabrics in yellow and blue to complement the printed designs.
Each kit contains 28 vintage fabric squares, measuring 5″ × 5″ each. They are a wonderful starting point for textile books, concertina books, slow stitching, small patchwork projects, or any creative exploration involving fabric, colour and pattern.
Choose your kit:
- Fabric Kit: 28 vintage French Provençal fabric squares, each approximately 5″ × 5″.
- Fabric Kit with Coordinating Thread: The same 28 fabric squares, together with six spools of WonderFil Spagetti 12 wt. thread in colours selected to complement the fabrics.
The coordinating threads offer a lovely starting palette for hand stitching, embellishment and other textile projects.
A little note about the fabrics:
These are vintage fabrics from my personal collection, and each kit is individually prepared. As the squares are cut from larger pieces of fabric, the placement of patterns and stripes may vary. Your kit may therefore differ slightly from the photograph, while maintaining the overall colour palette and variety of the collection.
These fabrics are no longer readily available, and each kit is a small collection of textiles with a history of their own. I hope you enjoy giving them a new life in your creative work.
