In Studio – Come Sit With Me – Scroll – November 7th, 2026 – 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

I invite you to join me, in person, at my NW Calgary studio on November 7th  for my “Come Sit with Me” scroll small group embroidery and composition class. You will be stitching in my private studio while immersed in my world, surrounded by my work, and with a full kit provided for the occasion.

My “Come Sit with Me” class focuses on my unique style of hand-embroidered storytelling in fabric and thread. You will be encouraged to play intuitively with a range of stitches to create a hand-embroidered scroll measuring approximately 4″ x 38″. I will demonstrate different stitches at various stages throughout the day, allowing you to relax into our time together.

This curated class is perfect for all levels of ability.

The full kit includes all materials needed for the scroll:

• Base vintage fabric – 4″ x 38″
• Fabrics
• Threads – 12 wt and 8 wt
• Ribbon and trim – some vintage
• Vintage lace
• Vintage buttons

• Instructions

Kits are available in four colourways: red (as shown), light blue, green, and yellow.  Basic sewing supplies, including scissors, pins, and needles, will be available to use in the classroom.

Bring your own lunch.  Tea, coffee and snacks to be provided.
