Summer. Warm days and cool nights in Calgary. And I am excited to be preparing for a studio sale and cleaning and reorganizing my studio in the basement. Stay tuned … it’s going to be great!
I don’t normally give much thought to my hands. We are so used to having them and doing with them. But hands are more than just practical and diverse. They’re symbolic. Hands can represent giving, and love. But also taking and hatred.
I have been creating collages using magazine images. And writing stories in my mind that matter just to me. A great way to spend quiet time and collect your thoughts.
On reorganizing and rearranging and getting rid of stuff in order to clear the mind and make space for creativity.
Healthy positivity doesn’t mean you should never be sad or have a bad day. It means you approach everyday challenges in a more productive way.
