Plurality and Heritage

You are invited!

SAQA’s annual conference, “Plurality and Heritage,” will be held online from April 12-20, 2024. It’s open to everyone; you don’t have to be a SAQA Member to attend!

This unique event will focus on fibre art and artists creating in Europe and the Middle East. SAQA is proud to present speakers from the following countries: the UK, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Finland, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Latvia, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Israel, Poland, and Serbia.

The keynote speakers are Kinga Földi and Susie Koren. Join us in learning about and celebrating the phenomenal textile art in this diverse region. 

The conference will take place online from April 12 – 20 in short daily sessions. Attendees will have access to recordings for 3 months. In addition to artist talks, studio tours, and educational panels, SAQA conferences focus on building community. Attendees will have the opportunity to network, play games, and form connections with fibre artists and enthusiasts worldwide.
