Looking ahead
As we look forward to the year ahead I am grateful for you – my readers – for your steadfast support. Whether you read my blogs, attend a workshop, or are a member of Create2Flourish, thank you so much for your continued support. I couldn’t do it without you.
A new year has started. Did you set goals? Or make resolutions? Did you draw lists? Or reviewed the past year? Whether you did or not, it’s a personal choice. Some people set up goals for the year and write them down, others keep a running tally in their heads. This year, I went “organic” – I know what I want to accomplish; I even know what I need to do to get there. I find that writing down goals and resolutions is not the way to go – for me. Life happens, and goals and resolutions change throughout the year – it seems – to match what’s going on in my life. What about you?
The year started excitingly enough: creating new work, and working on new articles for magazines, videos for Create2Flourish – which means research, samples, and a lot more. I’ve been trying to stay focused because I have a lot of ideas of things I want to make. So the trouble is staying on task. Lots of creative energy. I’ve even neglected social media during the holidays … slowly starting again to try and keep up. I’m focusing, right now, on all the exciting ideas dancing around my head.
Another goal for this year is to create new classes and projects to share. I’ve been developing some new ideas and I’m eager to share them with you. If you haven’t yet subscribed to my website, I invite you to do that by clicking on the blue button “Subscribe” (at the bottom of the home page at www.anabuzzalino.com) so you’ll be updated on what’s going on in my studio right in your inbox. I don’t send a lot of emails, but I endeavour to write once a week with some news.
Back to classes and tutorials: have you seen anything on social media you are interested in and would like to learn how to do it? Drop me a note. I’m always interested in what you would like to see.
I’m going to keep this one short. I wanted to touch base with everyone and tell you what’s been going around in my studio. There’s still time to register for a few workshops in the month of January: Lettering and Backgrounds in PowerPoint – A Demo workshop on January 11th at 10:00 a.m., and Embellished Rocks on January 19th at 9:00 a.m., all Mountain time. Supply lists are simple so chances are you have everything at hand. And no supplies needed for the PowerPoint demo. Check the links for more information. I hope to see you in class.
Until I write again, whether you’ve made lists, resolutions or created new goals, I hope you’ll have a productive and creative 2023.
